A person was hospitalized after state police say they exited from a moving vehicle on I-95 North in Milford Thursday.

Police initially said that a person was struck by a vehicle just before 12:30 p.m. between exits 38 and 39a.

They now believe the person got out of the vehicle while it was traveling on the highway. Witnesses told police the person was not hit by any vehicle.
