Bridgeport police say they received multiple calls Wednesday morning saying car windows were smashed and broken into on 1200 block of Railroad Avenue.
Police say they are actively investigating the vandalism.
Residents from 1289 Railroad Ave. say that about 30 cars had broken windows and were burglarized. They say this an ongoing issue.
"I've been living here for about three years and what I've been told from the previous residents who have been here six years plus, that this is a constant problem we've had going on here," says Kristin Ferguson, who had her car vandalized. "It's multiple cars being broken into."
She says residents are asking management to put up more security cameras and hire a security guard to monitor the parking lot.
