An Orange County man is accused of attacking a woman on a plane that landed at Westchester County Airport Saturday, county police say.

Police say 53-year-old Karl Conboy got into an argument with the woman, who was standing behind him in the aisle while they waited to exit a JetBlue flight.

Police say the Wallkill man shoved the woman, which caused her to knock over her 4-year-old son who was standing with her.

The victim and witnesses told police that Conboy punched the woman in the head several times. The woman and her son were treated for their injuries at the airport by EMS personnel.

Conboy has been charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

He is expected in Rye Town Count on Sept. 16.
