Police say the man accused of fatally stabbing his father in Rocky Point earlier this month crashed an SUV the same day as the attack.
They say Matthew Zoll, 23, crashed a black GMC Yukon SUV at the intersection of 25A and the William Floyd Parkway on Nov. 9 around 1:35 a.m.
Detectives believe Zoll suffered injuries from the crash and then fled. The GMC Yukon was impounded.
Anyone with information on Zoll’s location is asked to call police.
