        Police: Man accused of 2 robberies in Brooklyn

        Police say the suspect approached women from behind on two separate occasions and has been unsuccessful in his attempt to steal property.

        Police are searching for a man accused of two robberies in the Brooklyn.
        They say the suspect approached women from behind on two separate occasions and has been unsuccessful in his attempt to steal property.
        The first incident occurred on Aug. 26 near Osborn Street and Livonia Avenue. The suspect slammed a 41-year-old woman to the ground and attempted to remove money from her pockets.
        The second incident took place on Sept. 3 when the suspect threw a 33-year-old woman to the ground and unsuccessfully attempted to remove some of her belongings.
        Anyone who witnessed either of these events or who recognizes the suspect is urged to call the police.
