Police say a juvenile was airlifted to the hospital after being hit by a car while riding a dirt bike.
They say the crash happened on Route 9 and Serpentine Drive Thursday night.
Police say the juvenile was operating a Kawasaki dirt bike on the shoulder at high speed without a headlight.
The juvenile was struck by a turning Kia Rio, and then crashed into a Jeep Compass, according to police.
They say the juvenile sustained life-threatening injuries.
Police say the bike was not street legal.
