Nassau police released the identity of the woman who died after her SUV careened into a Hewlett Bay Park pool Friday.

Allison Rahmani, of Hewlett Bay Park, was in the driveway of a home on Elinor Road when she lost control of the vehicle, struck a tree and a parked vehicle before becoming immersed in a pool just before 9:30 a.m., according to police.

The 40-year-old woman was removed from the vehicle before officers arrived at the scene.

The responding officers performed life-saving measures on Rahmani before she was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The cause of Rahamani's death was still unknown as of Sunday night.
