Officials say a house fire in Jericho left seven people, including three children, homeless this afternoon.
According to police, flames broke out in the attic of a home on Maytime Court around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The people inside were able to get out safely.
It took 100 firefighters from 11 departments an hour and a half to knock the fire down.
Investigators say the fire was accidental and started with an electrical fixture.
