A Greenwich man was charged with making threats against Greenwich Public School.

Douglas Alcaide, 18, made a verbal threat directed toward students and staff during an incident.

School officials notified police, mental health providers, and Alcaide's family about the threat.

Officers say the threat was deemed not credible.

Alcaide was charged with threatening in the second degree.
