A father and son were arrested in connection to two people being injured following a shooting Thursday afternoon in Bridgeport.

Police arrested 46-year-old Damien Mullins and his 14-year-old son following the incident at a nearby hotel.

The minor was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, unlawful discharge of a firearm and reckless endangerment.

The minor was transported to juvenile detention following his processing.

Mullins was charged with tampering with evidence and was given a bond of $25,000 thousand.

Bridgeport police said there may be additional arrests made and additional charges filed.
