A 7-year-old is out of the hospital after sustaining burn injuries when her costume caught fire while trick-or-treating on North Union Street in Lambertville.
The costume caught the flames of a candle as the family was approaching a home for candy.
The child sustained first and second-degree burns, according to officials.
They say a good Samaritan patted out the flames with their hands and sustained minor burn injuries as a result.
The girl is expected to make a full recovery.
