A Bronx man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a deadly Milford home invasion, police say.

Ivan Barias-Florimon was arrested by the NYPD with assistance from U.S. Marshals' office.

Police say the incident happened June 3 at 871 East Broadway just before 3 a.m.

Police say Barias-Florimon and Stuar Lopez-Reyes entered the home, shot Fred Werner multiple times, and his wife, Sandy Cooper, once in the head.

Werner died at the scene, while Cooper was rushed to the hospital in serious condition. She's since been released and continues to recover, police said.

Barias-Florimon has been charged with murder, murder in commission of a felony, home invasion and assault of an elderly victim.

Police say he is currently being held in New York City and is awaiting extradition to Connecticut.
