No explosives were found inside Chestnut Ridge Middle School Thursday after a bomb threat was made, Ramapo police say.
It happened shortly after 1 p.m.
Students were bussed off campus after an anonymous man called the school and said explosive devices were inside.
Authorities searched the school and determined it to be safe. Chief Dan Hyman said they do not believe there is any danger to the public.
Several law enforcement agencies from throughout the area assisted, along with bomb detection dogs.
