Three juveniles were arrested Friday night for the robbery and assault of two teenage boys in a Syosset park, according to police.
Detectives say it happened around 5:30 p.m. during a planned meetup at Crocus Drive Playground.
Upon arrival, the suspects allegedly threw the two 17-year-old victims to the ground and began punching them repeatedly.
The suspects are then accused of taping their mouths shut, shaving their heads and stealing multiple items from their pockets before fleeing the scene on foot.
Police say they located the trio following an investigation and arrested them without incident.
They are each charged with robbery, assault and unlawful imprisonment.
Authorities say they will be arraigned on Jan. 18 in Hempstead.
