Two men have been charged with stealing a watch worth $275,000, police say.
The watch was stolen from Loucri Jewlers in Greenvale in July.
Police recently arrested two Queens men for the theft. Prosecutors were able to hold one of the men on an outstanding warrant, but the second suspect could not be held because grand larceny is not considered a bail- eligible offense.
Police say both men were in the country illegally. One was deported twice and the other was awaiting a hearing.
