The NYPD said a man from Mount Vernon died in a motorcycle crash in the Bronx on Saturday evening.
Police said 27-year-old Miguel Malcolm was riding a Honda CRV motorcycle along Monticello Avenue when he collided with a 22-year-old man who was driving a white BMW on Strang Avenue.
Malcolm was taken to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the driver of the BMW was not injured and remained on scene.
News 12 was told Sunday evening that no arrests had been made.
The circumstances that led to the crash were not immediately clear.
People at a growing memorial near the scene told News 12 that Malcolm loved riding motorcycles, was a car mechanic and a father of a 3-year-old daughter.
