A pickup truck caught fire near a Shelton supermarket Wednesday afternoon.

Shelton firefighters say they were called to the area near Big Y just before 1 p.m.

Photos from the scene show the truck heavily engulfed in flames.

Fire officials say crews used about 400 gallons of water to bring the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
