The NYPD says that a person of interest was taken into custody overnight Wednesday after a man, 31, was slashed on the left side of his face.
The incident happened at 7 p.m. Tuesday along 4th Avenue in Sunset Park.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police do not know what led up to the attack.
