Picture-perfect weather brought massive crowds to the Jersey Shore over the weekend.

Visitors in Belmar arrived as early as 10 a.m. Saturday to claim a spot on the sand. The busy weekend was also a big win for local businesses. Belmar officials say nearly 20,000 daily beach badges were sold over the weekend, surpassing even the Fourth of July holiday.

Sales of seasonal beach badges also remained strong through Sunday as the beautiful weather continued.
