1h agoPeekskill's annual Independence Day Parade was back for another year.
Parade goers lined the streets as dozens marched through.
It was the 63rd year for the parade. Around 40 organizations were involved.
The parade has turned into a tradition for many families in the area. The same goes for the people who take part in it each year.
The parade was just the start of Fourth of July celebrations in Peekskill. Fireworks are set to begin shortly after 9 p.m. They can be seen from the Riverfront Green Park.
