A pedestrian was struck by a car in Van Nest on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the FDNY, they received a call just before 7 p.m. at 1881 Bronxdale Ave. One person was transported to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi.

The condition of the person is not known at this time.
