Godfrey, a 2.5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, is ready to be your next forever companion.
He was abandoned by his family at a community vaccine clinic and pulled from a local shelter by Sammy's Hope in North Brunswick.
He loves human company and greets everyone with tail wags and enthusiasm, according to volunteers.
He weighs 61 pounds, and while he is excitable, he settles quickly and walks beautifully on a leash.
Godfrey is described as a gentle giant with a big heart and enjoys anything from laying on the couch with you for hours to going for long hikes.
He can fit into any family, although it is suggested he is placed into a home with older kids due to his size.
