It's hard not to immediately be drawn to Madeline, a 2-year-old Siberian Husky mix currently staying at St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center.
"This smart, stunning girl brings energy and enthusiasm to everything she does, whether she’s striding along on a hike, mastering a new trick, or following her nose on a scent-filled adventure. Madeline thrives on activity and loves having a job to do, making her the perfect partner for someone who enjoys training, exploring, and staying on the move," St. Hubert's said in Madeline's online biography.
In addition to her love for adventure, volunteers at St. Hubert's say Madeline also loves quiet time with her humans, especially when snuggling is involved. She's also friendly with other dogs and children, but they're not too sure about cats.
Madeline is getting ready for the upcoming "Shelter Slumber Pawty" this weekend. A group of humans will join the four-legged residents for 24 hours of eating, sleeping and "pawty-ing" together at St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center. The event will raise funds for St. Hubert's and its adoptable pets.
