        Owner of Manorville animal sanctuary denies animal neglect accusations

        As News 12 reported, more than 100 animals, which included horses, ducks, geese, chickens, as well as other animals, were removed by rescuers.

        The owner of an animal sanctuary in Manorville is denying accusations that animals were neglected.
        Richard Devoe, owner of Double-D Bar and Ranch, is charged with more than 100 charges of animal neglect.
        "I did nothing wrong. I love my animals," Devoe explained.
        As News 12 reported, more than 100 animals, which included horses, ducks, geese, chickens, as well as other animals, were removed by rescuers.
        Authorities say some animals were found dead, others were suffering from serious medical conditions, and some were left with no water.
        "These are allegations. We will address them in court, explained Devoe's lawyer, Joseph Murray.
