A crash involving an overturned vehicle is causing major delays on the Garden State Parkway in Clark.

The crash happened on the northbound side of the parkway just south of Exit 136.

The vehicle sustained significant damage in what appeared to be a one-vehicle crash.

Initial reports indicated there were injuries, but officials have not released details on their severity.

Traffic is getting by using the left shoulder and two travel lanes.

The crash scene has backed up traffic for miles through Union County.
