An overturned vehicle shut down a portion of Heck Avenue in Neptune Township Tuesday morning, with minor injuries reported.

Neptune Township police reported the crash at about 7:35 a.m.

Heck Avenue was closed between Route 35 and Neptune Boulevard while the incident was handled, and drivers were advised to use an alternate route.

Police later announced that the road had reopened.
