An overnight crash on the Belt Parkway left two vehicles overturned in Canarsie, snarling traffic and drawing an emergency response to the busy roadway.

Citizen video from the scene shows both vehicles resting upside down across the westbound lanes near Erskine Street, with debris scattered across the parkway and first responders surrounding the wreckage.

Police said two occupants had minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
