Step into Michelina's Apizza & Ristorante on State Street in New Haven and it just feels like home.

Owner Cheryl Maselli says she loves to feed people, and she greets every table.

The menu has a variety of dishes, but not all are Italian. Chef Ray Gennaro mixes it up a bit — with little of this and a little of that — some American, some Spanish and yes, some Italian.

But just recently, one item on the menu has taken off. Michelina's Pizza Flights have gone viral after @Coastline.Eats posted them on her Instagram.

The post is nearing 500,000 views and has been shared even more than the slices of pizza the restaurant serves up!

And to sweeten things up even more, dessert pizza flights are available too.
