A person was found dead in Stratford following a late‑night incident over the weekend.

The death was reported Saturday night around 11:48 p.m. in the 400 block of Woodstock Avenue, an area between Main Street and East Main.

Police said there is no threat to the public.

Officials have not released any details about the victim or what led up to the incident.

Police said more information is expected later Monday following an autopsy.
