        Officials: Water main break causes sinkhole in Lakewood

        A water main break caused a sinkhole to develop in Lakewood Thursday morning, according to New Jersey American Water.
        The water main break happened around 7 a.m. on Pine Street near Gvuras Ari Drive.

        New Jersey American Water says crews are working to repair the water main and the sinkhole. Repairs are expected to be completed overnight.
        Pine Street is closed from Warren Street to Cedar Street.
        Officials said 25 to 30 customers were impacted by the water main break. They say that water service will be interrupted while repairs are being made.
