A teenager was pulled from Lake Zoar Tuesday afternoon, according to an official from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
DEEP officials say EnCon police responded around 4:30 p.m. after the teen jumped from the cliffs at Kettletown State Park, struggled to stay afloat and went under the water at the lake.
They say the victim's brother pulled him to shore and started CPR.
Oxford Fire Department then transported the 18-year-old to the Jackson Cove beach area, where he regained consciousness.
DEEP officials say he was breathing and alert while inside an ambulance before being taken to Waterbury Hospital.
Officials say that while firefighters were responding, an Oxford Fire Department vessel capsized and sent everyone on board into the water. All personnel were recovered safety and the boat was brought back to the launch.
