A family is without a home following a late-night fire in Bergen County.

It happened around 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Carriage Lane in Ramsey.

The fire chief says everyone made it out safely, but the home is destroyed.

Multiple fire departments were called to help quench the flames. It took them about an hour to get the fire under control.

Officials say the fire was in the home’s attic and caused a partial roof collapse.

It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
