        The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation announced Friday that more than $3 billion will be used to renovate park facilities.
        City officials say they hope the plan addresses some of New York's biggest problems, such as the loneliness crisis, climate change and fixing aging park infrastructures.
        The Parks Department says protecting parks in the city will not only keep the city green, but it will also help build the communities around the parks.
