The NYPD says an officer's service weapon accidentally discharged inside the Kingston-Throop avenues subway station on Thursday.
Police sources tell News 12 that the gun never left the officers holster. It happened just before 4:45 p.m. on the southbound platform for the A/C lines.
According to the NYPD, two officers were taken to nearby hospitals. No one else was hurt.
The extent of the officers' injuries was not immediately known.
