Oceanside High School students posed questions to members of the cast and creative team of "A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical," a musical about the famous jazz musician.
Oceanside High School’s work-based learning coordinator, Iris Wiener, organized the outing. She said students are being given "authentic, real-world experiences" and called this experience the "perfect marriage of Black History Month and learning about careers."
James Monroe Iglehart is the show’s co-director and stars as Louis Armstrong. "We want the young people to come, we want to talk to them and we want to tell them what we know so they can take what we have and make better things with it," he said to News 12.
