Police release images of the suspect they say is behind the three separate arson incidents.
According to police, the incidents took place on Dec. 6, Dec. 18. and Jan. 1. The fire damage is still evident on the outside of one of the properties he is accused of setting ablaze, including damage to an exterior window and wall.
Residents in the unit who spoke to News 12 anonymously on Sunday said they are scared for their lives and the potential of the fire to spread due to large presence of trash on the outside of the structure.
"I don't even want to stay here. I'm scared. I've stayed over other people's house several times. It's not even home anymore, [the suspect] utilized the trash to create a larger fire. My entire apartment was smokey. I'm scared someone is going to die. Someone's going to get burned. Someone's going to get harmed," said a resident of 100 Ralph Ave.
A News 12 crew observed a police presence outside of the building Sunday night with officers telling News 12 they would remain outside the building overnight to prevent a potential fourth attack on the property.
