Police are searching for a man wanted in connection to a rape in Bay Ridge.
They say it happened at Shore Road Park around 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 7.
Police say the man choked and sexually assaulted a 24-year-old man before running away.
Residents like Stephen Sidoti say he's shocked.
“To hear that something like that could go on in my neighborhood that I thought was really safe is pretty scary. It definitely raises some alarm bells I’m going to have to be pretty careful leaving the house," said Sidoti.
Police say the man they're looking for is between 25-30 years old and is about 5 feet 7 inches tall.
