A violent robbery on Flatbush Avenue overnight sent a man to the hospital, the NYPD says.
Police say a 33-year-old man was stabbed once in the abdomen and then robbed around 3 a.m. near the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Beverley Road.
Three suspects are sought. No arrests have been made.
The victim’s condition was not immediately known.
Maria Majaloh has been working along Flatbush Avenue for 15 years. She says the influx in crime has begun to impact her braiding shop.
"We need more protection around here," she said. “We used to have a lot of clients, but because of people hearing what’s going on around the neighborhood, our clientele declined a lot.”
