A driver suffering a medical episode in East Flatbush drove onto the sidewalk and damaged several businesses, the NYPD says.
The incident happened on 35th Street and Church Avenue.
A surveillance video reviewed by News 12 shows a dark-colored SUV plowing through a store’s merchandise. A pedestrian on the sidewalk can be seen attempting to dodge the approaching vehicle.
The driver was taken to a hospital. A city employee on the scene says one other person was injured and also taken to a hospital.
It was not immediately clear what kind of medical episode the driver suffered from.
