A man is in critical condition after a shooting on Harrison Avenue in Morris Heights on Sunday night.

Police say the shooting happened just before 11 p.m. Police were initially called to the scene at 1930 Harrison Avenue for an assault. When they arrived, they found a 21-year-old man shot in the head.

He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
