Police say a 20-year-old man was fatally shot in Gravesend.

They say it happened on West 8th Street around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

When officers arrived on the scene, they say they noticed a man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The man was rushed to the hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to the police.

No arrests have been made at this time.
