        NYPD: 2 suspects wanted in Wakefield Dunkin' knifepoint robbery

        According to police, a 21-year-old Dunkin' employee was confronted and then robbed by the two suspects at 9:30 p.m. The two men then took off on foot on East 233rd Street with $515.

        The NYPD's 47th Precinct is urging the public to help identify two robbers who held up a Wakefield Dunkin' employee at knifepoint on Jan. 24.
        According to police, a 21-year-old Dunkin' employee was confronted and then robbed by the two suspects at 9:30 p.m. The two men then took off on foot on East 233rd Street with $515.
        Police released surveillance photos and footage of the robbers, describing one of the men as last seen wearing a black mask, a multicolored Nickelodeon jacket, blue jeans, black and red sneakers, and carrying a black backpack. The other suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark-colored jeans, and white sneakers.
        Police urge anyone in the community with information to come forward and call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or to submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or on X @NYPDTips.
