Police say one person is dead and a 3-year-old girl was among two critically injured Sunday afternoon in a crash on the Hutchinson River Parkway near Pelham Parkway.

Investigators say a motorcycle and a Lexus Sedan were involved in the accident just before 3 p.m.

The male operator of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on scene and the female passenger is in critical condition at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, according to the NYPD.

Authorities say a 3-year-old girl inside the Lexus Sedan was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in critical condition.

A 39-year-old woman and 40-year-old woman who were also inside the car were taken to the same hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad is actively investigating.
