Main Street in Nyack transformed into a film set for a new Netflix drama series on Thursday.

The project, entitled “Unaccustomed Earth,” is based on a best-selling collection of short stories.

It follows a family navigating scandals and their impact on the Indian American community.

Nyack stood in for Cambridge, Massachusetts, during the shoot.

The release date for the series is unclear, as it is still in the early stages of production.
