NYPD: 18-year-old woman critically injured in Hutchinson River Parkway crash
37m agoA fatal crash involving a passenger vehicle and two tractor-trailers occurred early Saturday morning near the Palisades Mall.
State police say it happened around 3 a.m. on the NYS Thruway/I-87 near Exit 12 in Clarkstown.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mayor Joseph Rand shared a photo of the incident on his Facebook page.
The thruway was closed for several hours following the crash. It has since been reopened.
