Improvement is on the way as the nor'easter slowly ambles away from the coast. The skies will remain cloudy but will slowly wear thin for the rest of tonight.
The winds will be breezy at times, but also noticeably less of a matter of contention. Sunshine is in the forecast tomorrow, with warmer air coming from the Midwest.
Highs are expected to be a few degrees warmer than average as the mercury in the thermometers reaches 70 degrees. (66 degrees is normal for this time of year).
More autumnal air arrives for the end of the week. Plenty of sun to go around, but an airmass from Canada keeps things on the "fall-like" side.
Looking ahead to the weekend. Saturday is nicer than Sunday. There is a chance for showers returning later in the day on Sunday.
