NJ Transit CEO and President Kris Kolluri said Tuesday that he won't leave the negotiating table but that the latest proposal from the engineers union is a "head-scratcher."

Kolluri said the union's proposal would lead to a hefty increase in the corporate transit fee or fares to go up for riders by 34%.

Kolluri said the union is playing a game of chicken with the transit agency's riders and that he doesn't "play games."
