The Attorney General James’ office has released body-cam footage of a police involved shooting where a Brooklyn man was shot and killed in Bed-Stuy.  
The shooting happened back on June 19. at 190 Kosciuszko St. at around 5:45 a.m.  
When they arrived, they were met with an armed 48-year-old Lamin Simons.  
The new images were released as part of their investigation.  
The new footage shows officers attempting to come into the residence when shots begin to be fired.  
They can be heard instructing Simmons to put down his weapon before shots were fired. 
“Stop ! Drop the gun!” before more shots continued to be fired and one officer was struck.  
The officer was struck in the leg and taken to a local hospital. Simons was also struck and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.  
The Office of Special Investigation have not made a determination in the case and it continues to be reviewed.
