Some Newark residents were left temporarily displaced by a fire Saturday on Franklin Avenue.
The American Red Cross says the fire happened around 5 p.m. and impacted over 80 people.
Individuals living in one of the apartment buildings could not return due to a loss of utilities.
Disaster workers responded to the scene and a shelter was opened on Grafton Avenue.
It is unclear when the residents will be able to return to their homes.
