Newark Liberty International Airport has made the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) top 10 list for most unusual finds at airport checkpoints in the past year.

The reason for this distinction is an incident in October where a Mississippi man attempted to hide gun parts in a boot behind a sock, while concealing other parts in a Lego box. Additionally, a loaded magazine was also discovered.

TSA officers found these prohibited items at the X-ray machine in Terminal A.
